Our compostable lids are made of a biopolymer from corn grown in Blair, Nebraska. The manufacturer offsets all the carbon emissions from the production and transportation of these lids. So they have one of the lowest carbon footprints of any disposable lid on the market! Did we mention the plant based plastic used in them requires 68% less fossil fuel resources to produce than traditional plastic? Certified compostable in as little as 45 days.

Our Kraft Carrier bags contain 40% minimum post consumer recycled material, they are 100% recyclable and compostable and contain no old growth fiber, and our recycled sandwich bags are manufactured from Natural Total Chlorine Free Pulp, Certified compostable 100% post-consumer recycled fiber inner cartons and trays, printed with soy based inks and the soy blended wax reduces the reliance on petroleum wax. They are of course FDA approved foodservice packaging and benefit the planet because using EcoCraft Natural Paper rather than bleached paper means a reduction in the wood used, the total energy needed to produce, the Greenhouse Gases produced and even a reduction in Wastewater produced! We are using bamboo kebob sticks because bamboo is considered to be a renewable resource since it grows to maturity in less than 2 years and is easily compostable.

Our water bottles are not where we want them to be yet. We are still looking for a great eco-product we can freeze and the minute we find one, we will be using it. In the meantime, doubling our frozen water as your ice-pack means we are not utilizing chemical-based commercial icepacks. So thats  something, right? We ask you to consider filling your own reusable water bottles inside the park , and if you don't have one, order our beautiful YPB water bottle here and now and we will have it filled, frozen and ready for you to take with you. It makes a great souvenir memory of your time in the first and greatest National Park in the world.
